We hereby inform you that on 16 August 2023, a fraudulent website under URL https://gerywsond.com emerged, inviting investors to invest in sustainable energy sources. The website makes unauthorized and fraudulent use of marketing and communications materials of the limited liability company KONČAR – Digital Ltd., and it features a photography and a fabricated statement attributed to Darinko Bago, former President of the Management Board of KONČAR – Electrical Industry Inc. The statement supports the content of the website with respect to inviting investors to invest in green shares in 3 steps, exclusively tied to renewable sources. The content stipulates a minimum deposit in the amount of EUR 250, with a guarantee of an average monthly return of EUR 1,120 per month.

The website in question is not operated by KONČAR – Electrical Industry Inc., and as such it is in no manner associated with or related to KONČAR Group.

We hereby notify and confirm that we have never invited investors in the above-described manner and that KONČAR – Electrical Industry Inc., as a publicly traded company listed on the Zagreb Stock Exchange engages in ethical and transparent operations, in compliance with legal requirements, statutory regulations and the Corporate Governance Code. Mr Bago has also confirmed that he has immediately notified the police authorities.

We hereby notify you that we will take all legal measures to ascertain the identity of the individual or entity responsible for this internet scam which misuses KONČAR’s information and name, with the aim of protecting the local public and preventing potential harm.

Furthermore, our cybersecurity experts are taking necessary steps to safeguard KONČAR – Electrical Industry Inc., its subsidiaries, and the general public, who have been fraudulently targeted in this investment scam.
