Smart cities with KONČAR, which has long-term experience in the development, implementation and maintenance of projects co-financed by the EU or domestic funds, implement green energy transition and digital transformation projects.
Complete solutions enable individual and integrated monitoring and management of energy efficiency of city institutions and companies, as well as the efficient management of municipal infrastructure. In addition to e-mobility, we offer solutions for water supply and drainage, public lighting, and traffic and environmental monitoring. Energy efficiency management is supported by remote metering of electricity, water, gas, heat consumption and loss detection.
Part of the solution is digitalization with our own products IIoT/OT platform KONČAR MARS and SCADA KONČAR Proza of the new generation of open source and modular architecture with cyber-secure solutions certified according to demanding IEC standards as the first in the world.
Functionality package (our IIoT platform and Proza SCADA) offers a comprehensive suite of capabilities, including:

Microgrids
Upgrading your own power system to a KONČAR microgrid ensures greater energy independence, energy cost savings and reduced environmental impact.
KONČAR microgrid is a localized, flexible and scalable solution for energy production and management. Implementation involves developing solutions according to customer needs. Monitoring and controlling, as well as optimizing production and consumption are key functions of our microgrids, including substations and power connections, power plants (primarily from renewable sources), battery energy storage and various consumers.
Microgrids follow individual user requirements, are cost-effective and can be upgraded in the long term, and use equipment and software solutions developed based on our more than 100 years of experience in the power industry, of which more than 40 years in digitalization.
Today's customer needs are increasingly not met by power system operators. It is expected that this trend will continue and intensify in the future, making the microgrid area even more attractive and ensuring:
