Our Transformer department is working on numerous R&D assignments for power, distribution and instrument transformers, mainly in the areas of dielectrics, transients, electromagnetics, instrumentation automatization, monitoring and support for laboratory center.

Job description:
- conducting vibroacoustic analyses with the aim of identifying and mitigating resonant phenomena in power transformers
- developing and applying multiphysics simulation methodologies, including magnetostriction analysis, and mechanical, vibrational, and acoustic behavior of transformer windings, core, and tank
- performing experimental bump tests, processing and analyzing measurement data, visualizing vibration mode shapes, and identifying dominant sources of noise and vibrations
- correlating numerical simulation results with experimental measurements
- collaborating with external teams for electromagnetic design, mechanical construction, and product testing
Job requirements:
- completed higher education in mechanical engineering; a master’s degree or PhD in the field of vibrations and acoustics, numerical methods, and/or multiphysics simulations
- more than 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the power transformer industry or related power equipment sectors
- working knowledge of English language
Necessary:
- proven experience in noise and vibration analysis, vibroacoustic and modal analyses, and work in multidisciplinary teams
- advanced knowledge of commercial software tools for numerical multiphysics simulations such as Ansys
- ability to independently lead technically demanding research tasks
- strong analytical skills, structured thinking, proactive work approach, and a strong orientation toward problem solving
Good to know:
- preferably experience in experimental noise and vibration measurements and measurement data processing
