The Promina 400 kV substation will be integrated into the national grid through 400 kV overhead transmission lines connecting it with the Konjsko and Velebit substations. It will serve as a key node for transmitting electricity from the Promina solar power plant and is expected to deliver sufficient energy to power around 69,000 households.

The construction of Promina marks the first new 400 kV substation project in Croatia in over two decades, highlighting KONČAR’s advanced capabilities and proven track record in high-voltage engineering and infrastructure development.

Once completed, the Promina solar power plant will have an installed capacity of 150 MW, making it the largest solar energy facility of its kind in Croatia and the broader region.
