This approach prioritizes compliance with relevant technical standards and proactive positioning in high-potential regions. For example, the development of transformer cooling fans in accordance with NEMA recommendations facilitates market entry into the United States. At the same time, considerable commercial and technical resources are directed toward East Asian markets, particularly China and South Korea. While expanding globally, KONČAR - MES continues to strengthen its presence in the European market—its traditional stronghold. Simultaneously, the diversification of the product portfolio with energy-efficient EC fans and offshore wind power solutions reinforces the company’s positioning in markets driven by the global green transition. 

Which strategic collaborations are facilitating expansion into new markets?

One of the most impactful technical partnerships is our collaboration with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Zagreb. This alliance accelerates innovation and ensures that new product developments meet the regulatory and technical requirements of targeted international markets. In addition, this year marked the beginning of a new collaboration with a sales distributor for the Chinese market. Early results are promising, with notable improvements in customer outreach, faster field feedback, and stronger brand positioning in one of the world’s most competitive industrial sectors.
