Explosion-protected fans
Our explosion-protected axial and centrifugal fans meet the stringent requirements of ATEX Directive 94/9/EU and are engineered for safe operation in Zone 1 and Zone 2 environments.
These EX-rated fans are not standalone products but are intended as components in air conditioning, ventilation, and exhaust gas systems. They must be installed and commissioned following safety verifications, including protective measures as per DIN EN 294, DIN EN 60529, and explosion protection regulations under N107-2:2003.
Designed to meet ATEX categories 2 and 3, these fans are suitable for hazardous gas and dust environments, covering zones 1, 2, 21, and 22.
