Medium voltage indoor circuit breakers – VK and VK series

The VK and VK series vacuum circuit breakers are manufactured as three-pole and single-pole units for nominal voltages of 12, 24, and 38 kV. Designed specifically for indoor use, these breakers meet all requirements of the IEC 62271-100 standard.

Each standard three-pole circuit breaker is a fully integrated unit built on a durable steel base frame, with poles mechanically interconnected and simultaneously operated via a drive mechanism. Each pole incorporates a vacuum chamber for efficient arc extinguishment, enclosed within an insulating tube, and features both movable and fixed contact assemblies.

These breakers are modular in design and available in both fixed and withdrawable versions. Tailored auxiliary equipment can be integrated to match specific voltage levels, applications, and customer needs. Additionally, older models can be upgraded to enhance functionality and extend the service life of substations.

The new generation VK vacuum circuit breakers build on a rich tradition of circuit breaker production. Innovations in pole technology, operating mechanisms, and connection contacts have led to reduced dimensions, more cost-efficient manufacturing processes, and streamlined component assembly during production.

Over the past 20 years, we have delivered more than 6,000 units across various voltage levels and configurations to customers worldwide. In response to evolving market trends and increasing technical demands, we remain dedicated to developing breakers with advanced technical capabilities.

Ru series MV voltage disconnectors for indoor installation series

We manufacture Ru series disconnectors as three-pole and single-pole units, suitable for rated voltages up to 38 kV and nominal currents up to 2500 A. Designed for indoor applications, these disconnectors are fully compliant with IEC 62271-102 standards. On request, we also produce disconnectors with higher nominal currents and configurations tailored for fewer phases.

The standard three-pole disconnector is a fully integrated unit consisting of a robust steel base frame with three mechanically linked poles that operate simultaneously. Each pole is equipped with two epoxy-cast supporting insulators, which securely hold the contact blades and fixed contacts.

Featuring a modular design, our disconnectors can be supplied with or without grounding blades. For models with grounding blades, customers have the flexibility to specify the mounting side, and if needed, blades can be installed on both sides to suit specific requirements.
