Photovoltaic inverter for solar power plants

KONsol central photovoltaic inverter

KONsol

The KONsol central photovoltaic inverter is a complete turnkey solution, engineered for outdoor deployment in solar power plants with capacities above 1 MW. It optimizes plant performance and efficiency while significantly lowering installation costs.

All components required for the inverter, along with the necessary equipment to connect the solar power plant to the medium-voltage grid, are integrated into a compact 20' container.

The system offers both local control via a control cabinet and remote monitoring through standardized communication protocols.

KONsol is built with components from industry-leading manufacturers, ensuring dependable performance and easy maintenance. The inverter system includes two independently operating, parallel-connected inverters, a medium-voltage (MV) transformer, and an MV switchgear assembly.

KONsol is engineered as a self-contained unit, featuring single-stage conversion of DC power from the photovoltaic array to AC power. The low-voltage AC is then stepped up to medium-voltage (10 or 20 kV) and connected to the distribution grid via the MV switchgear. Additionally, the MV switchgear enables the parallel connection of multiple inverters for larger installations.
