Proud recipient of the Equal Pay Champion certification

At a special ceremony today, SELECTIO, Croatia’s leading HR consultancy firm, brought together top HR professionals, executives, and industry leaders to celebrate 22 companies setting new standards in pay equity and transparency. Among them, KONČAR Group was proudly awarded the Equal Pay Champion certificate for 2025.

This prestigious certification reaffirms our ongoing commitment to fostering a fair and inclusive workplace, ensuring that our pay structures align with the highest standards of equity and transparency.

The certification process goes beyond salary assessments, evaluating an organization’s broader commitment to building a fair and transparent framework for compensation, career growth, and rewards. It also examines how companies tackle the root causes of gender disparities and implement strategic Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

A key part of the evaluation involved a gender pay gap analysis, assessing salary comparisons across genders, the methodology used, and the overall impact of existing policies. Over the last five years, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) have become integral to corporate strategy and long-term success. Despite this, organizations at both the global and European levels continue to navigate challenges in turning commitment into lasting, meaningful change.

Looking ahead, two major European Union directives will come into effect in 2026, further reinforcing equality in the workplace: the Gender Balance in Corporate Leadership Directive, and the Pay Transparency Directive. These initiatives will set new benchmarks for pay equity, accountability, and leadership diversity, shaping the future of workplace fairness.
