KONČAR shows its support for the initiative “Plant a tree, don’t be a stump”

As part of the citizens’ initiative organized under the name “Plant a tree, don’t be a stump”, a volunteer activity was held today in KONČAR’s factory premises at Fallerovo šetalište, Zagreb.

Employees of the KONČAR Group planted trees and groomed the existing plants within the factory premises. The tree planting and landscaping activities were made easier not only by the good weather, but also by the great atmosphere among the hard-working volunteers.

KONČAR volunteer action

This praiseworthy initiative is organized and carried out on a national, regional and local level. It is based on the idea that anyone can plant a tree and thus contribute to the fight against climate change.

The goal of the initiative is to encourage citizens, associations, companies and institutions to make urban areas greener and plant as many trees as possible on both private and public land, either on their own or in cooperation with local governments across Croatia.
