KONČAR – Digital continues our long-standing tradition of collaboration with the academic community
KONČAR – Digital, a new member of KONČAR Group, has been founded recently with the goal of leveraging the Group’s competitiveness in the field of industrial software development and expanding our digital services portfolio. The Company’s first contribution to education of future experts will involve co-organizing the course Development of software solutions for industrial IoT systems with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb (FER).
The portfolio of KONČAR – Digital primarily includes digital platforms with open and modular architecture for power engineering, mobility, and critical and urban infrastructure with advanced management and maintenance services. Additionally, the company is focused on modern business models as generators of digital services and solutions, such as the use of blockchain technology in the energy sector.
The industrial software developed at KONČAR – Digital is designed for management, remote support and maintenance of industrial plants, energy-efficient public lighting, renewable energy sources, energy storage, energy renovation of buildings, hybrid microgrids, and energy-efficient water supply and drainage systems.
The Course will be given by the FER faculty, but the students will be introduced to the theory and practical applications by KONČAR – Digital team, who will be giving lectures and teaching lab sessions. As a result, this course will provide students with an excellent opportunity to learn from the best local experts about the professional aspect of working with the cutting edge technologies. In addition to expanding their knowledge and skills, students taking the course will also have the opportunity to continue their professional development as members of KONČAR – Digital team.
