At the beginning of July, KONČAR – Helb signed a contract with Vetropack Austria for the reconstruction and modernization of the power system at the company’s manufacturing facility in Pöchlarn, Austria.

Vetropack Austria is part of the Swiss-based Vetropack Group, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of glass packaging for the food and beverage industry. The Group employs 3,532 people and operates modern production facilities, as well as sales and distribution offices, across Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Italy, the Republic of Moldova and Romania.

The project includes the reconstruction of the 110/20 kV system, the modernization of medium-voltage installations, and the construction of new infrastructure. These improvements will provide a higher level of supply security, increased available power capacity, and more reliable system operation.

Solutions from across the KONČAR Group’s product portfolio will also play an important role in the project’s implementation, further demonstrating the strength of KONČAR’s integrated approach and its ability to deliver comprehensive power engineering solutions for demanding industrial environments.
