Sustaining market presence in Saudi Arabia with instrument transformers deliveries
We successfully delivered 21 current instrument transformers at a voltage level of 380 kV in March 2024.
For Aramco, a leading global entity in integrated energy and chemicals owned by the Saudi Arabian government, we successfully delivered 21 current instrument transformers at a voltage level of 380 kV in March 2024. The delivery followed rigorous testing and approval by an independent inspector representing the buyer.
These transformers are designated for use in the development of the Jafurah gas field, one of Aramco's most ambitious projects aimed at supporting the country's energy transition. The Jafurah Basin spans approximately 17,000 km² and is recognized as the Middle East's largest shale gas reserve, distinguished by its rich condensate resources.
Additionally, in April, we delivered 18 current instrument transformers at the same voltage level of 380 kV for another customer in the Saudi Arabian market. These transformers, tested and approved in March, are intended for Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), a state-owned utility company with a monopoly over electricity generation, transmission, and distribution in Saudi Arabia. The transformers will be installed in substations connecting 380 kV transmission lines between the cities of Afif and Mahd Al Dahb in the central region of Saudi Arabia.
These deliveries underscore our enduring presence in the Saudi Arabian market, reaffirming our long-standing commitment to supporting the region’s energy infrastructure.
