Distribution substations for SPP Polog in Bosnia and Herzegovina

In June 2024, we completed the delivery and installation of critical equipment for substations powering SPP Polog, a solar power plant situated in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This landmark project for a private customer comprises eight solar plants, each with a capacity of 999 kW. Every plant is equipped with a dedicated 1250 kVA, 20/0.6 kV substation, seamlessly connected to a 110/20 kV substation for grid integration.

SPP Polog

Executed on a turnkey basis, our scope included medium-voltage VDAΣ 24 switchgear, low-voltage 1NBO switchgear, and, for the future 110/20 kV substation, high-voltage 110 kV disconnectors and circuit breakers, as well as 20 kV medium-voltage BVK 24 switchgear. Supporting the project, KONČAR – Distribution and Special Transformers supplied the essential transformers, ensuring a complete and reliable energy solution.
