Contract signed for RHE Velebit reconstruction
KONČAR has signed a landmark agreement with the Croatian Transmission System Operator (HOPS) for the comprehensive reconstruction of the Velebit Pumped Storage Hydroelectric Power Plant (RHE Velebit).
This ambitious project encompasses the turnkey delivery of cutting-edge equipment, including a 110 kV gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) and a 400 MVA network transformer.
As part of this transformative initiative, we will supply and install a state-of-the-art seven-bay GIS system with double busbars, underscoring our expertise in delivering advanced, high-performance solutions for critical energy infrastructure.
