Powering SPP Polog: Distribution substations successfully delivered in Bosnia and Herzegovina

In June 2024, we successfully completed the delivery and installation of state-of-the-art transformer substations for the Polog Solar Power Plant (SPP Polog) in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This ambitious project, commissioned by a private customer, includes eight solar power plants, each generating 999 kW. Each facility features its own 1250 kVA, 20/0.6 kV distribution substation, all seamlessly integrated into a 110/20 kV substation for connection to the national grid.

Delivered as a turnkey solution, the project encompassed medium-voltage VDAΣ 24 switchgear, low-voltage 1NBO switchgear, and, for the upcoming 110/20 kV substation, high-voltage 110 kV disconnectors and circuit breakers alongside 20 kV medium-voltage BVK 24 switchgear.

This collaborative achievement was further strengthened by the contributions of KONČAR – Distribution and Special Transformers, who provided the essential transformers.

By successfully delivering this complex project, we continue to demonstrate our expertise in driving renewable energy infrastructure forward.
