GIS switchgear for Hungary’s battery factory
In May, we successfully completed the factory testing and delivery of a state-of-the-art 145 kV gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), featuring a robust metal-clad, SF6-insulated design, destined for Hungary.
The project’s significance was reflected in the presence of eight representatives from the customer and end user during the factory acceptance testing, underscoring the importance of this milestone.
The GIS system will power the CATL substation in Hungary, an essential part of a cutting-edge facility in Debrecen specializing in lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles, energy storage, and advanced battery management systems. Owned by a prominent Chinese corporation, the factory highlights global collaboration in driving e-mobility and sustainable energy solutions.
The customer commended our professionalism and our ability to meet their stringent production and delivery timelines.
This project reinforces our position as a trusted partner in Hungary, paving the way for continued collaboration and further success in this dynamic and rapidly evolving market.
