The KSMV series compact switching modules are engineered as three-pole switchgear for nominal voltages up to 24 kV, specifically designed for indoor applications in compliance with IEC 62271-200 standards.
Each module is housed in an individual gas-tight steel casing, with SF6 gas providing insulation between components and the enclosure. Electric arcs in the circuit breakers are effectively extinguished within vacuum chambers.
Unlike KSMA-type switchgear, which utilizes insulated busbars to connect modules, the KSMV modules are linked through busbar insulators integrated into gas-tight housings. While the busbar and apparatus compartments remain gas-separated, they are interconnected using conductive insulators.
The modules are available in three basic configurations:
- The feeder module, designed for a rated current of 630 A
- The transformer module, suitable for a rated current of 2500 A
- The connection module (busbar section), rated for currents up to 2500 A
We remain dedicated to the continuous improvement and modernization of our products, and in accordance with technical and environmental guidelines, we are actively developing a new generation of switchgear.
