Network ripple control systems

Seamless Demand-side management (DSM). The Network ripple control system  provides an efficient, centralized solution for controlling a wide range of loads within the power grid—such as meters, public lighting, and other electrical equipment—by utilizing the existing power lines for message transmission. This innovative approach simplifies demand-side management, leveraging the power grid itself as the communication medium.

Network ripple control systems

INEMATIC 300 devices are engineered for efficient ripple control of the grid, using symmetrical parallel injection of control signals into the medium-voltage network.

The application range of the Network Ripple Control system in load management is determined by input data and consumption profiles, which generate commands for the daily user schedule. Information is transmitted from a central location to all points within the grid using the existing active power lines.

Control of the transmission installations is fully centralized, with operations overseen from the Main Control Center (MCC) located within the dispatch center.

Various installation configurations tailored to available space:

  • Discrete design
  • Integrated design
  • Compact design

The system is designed for versatile applications, including tariff switching, control of public, advertising, security, and building lighting. It also efficiently manages additional loads such as storage heaters, air conditioning units, electric water heaters, and heat pump stations.

Furthermore, the system can incorporate advanced features for managing low-voltage network switches and enabling silent alert notifications for public services.
