Study visit
We are always thrilled to host student visits because we love sharing our knowledge and experiences with the younger generation, serving as an example of good practice. It’s especially exciting when we welcome universities from abroad, as we did recently.
On March 18, 2022, we had the pleasure of hosting a group of 25 undergraduate students and professors from the Institute of Technology of Cachan, University of Paris, Saclay. Their visit was part of a seven-day study tour in Croatia, organized through the Career Centre of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb. The students aimed to gain practical knowledge and insights into the business culture of Croatian manufacturing and logistics companies.
With the organizational support of our Human Resources Management Department and the expert guidance of our colleagues Matija Koprivnjak, a medium power transformer designer, and Sandra Sedmak from the Procurement Department, the students were introduced to our transformer production processes. During their tour of the plant, they visited workshops and the test station, where they were shown and explained the procedures for cutting and assembling cores, winding, assembling, and testing transformers.
The visitors conveyed their appreciation and enthusiasm, thanking us for arranging such an enriching and educational visit. They are confident that this experience will be invaluable in their future professional endeavours.
