We are proud to announce the release of our first printed edition of the Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Report. This milestone coincides with the jubilee year in which we celebrated the 30th anniversary of our company and a century of excellence for the KONČAR Group.

Since our establishment in February 1991, we have grown significantly. In our inaugural year, we achieved a business revenue of $12 million with a team of 150 employees. Fast forward to 2020, our workforce expanded to 651 employees, and our business revenue surpassed one billion kuna. This remarkable growth underscores our commitment to a sustainable future for all our stakeholders. 

From the early '90s, we understood the importance of adhering to ISO standards in managing our business processes. By 1995, we had implemented an ISO 9001 quality management system, certified by Bureau Veritas. Securing ISO 9001 certification at that time was a pioneering achievement in Croatia, driven by great enthusiasm. It was only the sixth ISO 9001 certificate in the country and the third among manufacturing companies without foreign ownership.

Over the years, our continuous efforts to improve our operations have earned us additional certifications: ISO 14001 for environmental protection, ISO 45001 (formerly OHSAS 18001) for health and safety at work, along with the adoption of numerous other operational principles such as the Code of Ethics, our internal Code of Business Conduct, transparent and fair procurement policies, and ongoing enhancement of human resource policies.

These efforts highlight our unwavering commitment to the economic prosperity of our company and its stakeholders, the well-being of the broader community, and environmental sustainability, even in the absence of a publicly available document until now.
