Industrial IoT platform for intelligent and energy-efficient management of industrial IoT devices
The project includes research and development of the IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) platform with an emphasis on the predictive maintenance, safety and energy efficiency functionalities.
The project was co-financed by the EU from the European Regional Development Fund.
Objectives and expected results
The goal of the project is to explore the possibility and implement a complete software solution for industrial IoT systems data management. During the project, detailed industrial research will be carried out to check the possibility of the predictive maintenance of machines and systems using a series of IoT sensors, the implementation of cyber security in the industrial IoT system, and the increase of energy efficiency using the IIoT system. The results of the research phase will be used in the second phase of the project, which includes the experimental development of the IIoT platform, and several vertical applications intended for the application of the platform for predictive maintenance of the system, the reduction of utility infrastructure losses and the increase of energy efficiency of the system.
