In mid-2023, we successfully tested the first of the five contracted 63 MVA, 63 kV 115/21 regulating transformers, manufactured for the needs of a long-term German partner. This is the first MV transformer containing CO2-reduced Bluemint transformer steel - top quality transformer steel with allocated CO2 reductions that lead to reduced product-related carbon intensity of nearly 50% compared to the traditional manufacturing. Replacing coal with hydrogen in manufacturing enables manufacturers to overcome the barriers on the path to climate neutrality.
