Transformer Monitoring Systems

KONČAR TMS system has been developed with a clear objective: to assist users in advancing asset management and preventing unplanned downtime of critical equipment. TMS is a solution that enables the collection of essential information for condition assessment and sets the standard in transformer monitoring.

Testing and measurements

Our one-stop laboratory and diagnostic equipment testing are based on expert competence, quality and rapid response. We provide comprehensive testing support necessary for product market placement, backed by accreditation that affirms our independence and competence in delivering such services.

DC traction power supply - Rectifier station

Our rectifier power supply system, providing 660 V DC, is designed for reliable and safe supply of the tram contact network. With such systems, we enable secure operation and availability at all times.

Dynamic reactive power compensation

KONTRAC PN225AC, designed for 110kV/25kV substation facilities, is a trackside converter which is used for dynamic reactive power compensation. This reliable and proven technical solution is ideal for sustainable development as it realizes significant savings in reactive power costs and reduces contact wire losses.

MV switchgear

We equip traction substations with a variety of power equipment. We manufacture single-pole vacuum circuit breakers and disconnectors up to 38 kV voltage level. Our product range includes MV JOr series support insulators and MV SPO 38-I fuse bases.

Bushing type insulators

Used in insulation of instrument and protective devices from high voltages, as well as to transform measured currents and voltages to a level suitable for instrument and protective devices within a defined accuracy class.

Railway passengers may not notice control, management, and safety systems as much as they notice trains, locomotives, and other mobile solutions, but their functions are of critical importance.

KLC3 Level Crossing Control System

The third generation of KONČAR’s level crossing control system. Developed in compliance with the highest safety requirements of the SIL4 standard for railway signalling and safety systems, the embedded control system consists of two identical devices that guarantee reliable operation of all safety functions.

Safety human-to-machine interface - SafeHMI

SafeHMI is a modular hardware and software platform developed for safety-critical applications, originally designed for remote monitoring and control of multiple level crossings. The core functionality of SafeHMI is the implementation of safety systems that protect human lives in hazardous scenarios, such as remote monitoring and control of level crossings.

Control and communication system (NKS)

This industrial computer serves as an interface between the existing railway infrastructure equipment and the central monitoring system. Its core functionality is to collect data from the existing railway infrastructure equipment, store it in a local database, and synchronize it with the central monitoring system.

Development of functional safety devices

For nearly three decades, we have been supporting our customers in addressing challenges arising from electronic embedded control systems. We specialize in research, development, and professional services in compliance with the functional safety standards – EN 50126/8/9 up to SIL4.

Substation auxiliary power supply

The converter is deployed as a power source for various consumers in substations - supplying power for lighting and information systems, railway signalling and safety systems, and similar applications. Incidences of over-voltages and under-voltages which can easily damage the input circuit of standard converters are common along the railway contact network.

SCADA PROZA NET

SCADA PROZA NET is a digital control and monitoring system for real-time management of power plants. PROZA is a modular and adaptable SCADA system that can be used for various levels of monitoring and control, from station computers to large control centres.

The system offers a range of functionalities aimed at managing and regulating railway traffic, scheduling, supporting core business processes of railway infrastructure managers and railway carriers. The solution is designed with a focus on flexibility and simplicity in terms of upgrades and modernization, and can be easily customized to new market needs and requirements for integration with other railway systems across Europe.
