Miki Huljić, Member of the Management Board
Since joining KONČAR in October 2012 as Chief Financial Officer, Miki Huljić has been a driving force behind the company's financial success. In August 2014, he reached a significant milestone by becoming Deputy Board Member, and by August 2016, he was promoted to full Board Member. Miki's extensive experience in leadership roles includes serving as a company director, commercial director, and director of finance and controlling across various organizations. Before KONČAR, he demonstrated his expertise in economic policy and strategic management as Assistant Minister of Economy.
Miki Huljić has been a pivotal part of KONČAR since October 2012, starting as Chief Financial Officer and contributing significantly to the company's financial success. Before joining KONČAR, Miki served as Assistant Minister of Economy from January to October 2012, where he played a vital role in shaping economic policies. Prior to this, he was the Executive Director of the Support Division at Hrvatska Pošta, where he led critical departments, including Controlling, Treasury, Accounting, Maintenance and Asset Management, and IT. His ability to manage complex organizational frameworks highlighted his operational expertise and leadership capabilities.
In his role as Director at Lantea Grupa and Sportina, Miki was responsible for driving the company’s growth in Croatia while strategically overseeing the Sportina Group’s commercial operations globally.
Miki began his professional journey at Progres, an auditing firm, specializing in auditing before transitioning to a business advisory role that focused on auditing, accounting, and taxation. His career trajectory includes significant experience in investment banking as Director of the Analytical Department at Kaptol Investment Company. Here, he was instrumental in establishing Croatia’s first investment fund and participating in coupon privatization through the SNF closed-end fund. With an impressive track record, Miki has served as Director of Finance and Controlling at several prestigious firms, including Badel 1862, Tekstilpromet, and Excelsa Holding, the cornerstone of the Andronico Lukšić family-owned group in Croatia.
A seasoned academic, Miki has lectured at numerous professional seminars and authored approximately ten articles on International Accounting Standards, income tax, corporate tax, and value-added tax. Throughout his career, he has served on numerous supervisory boards, applying his expertise to various sectors.
Miki earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Zagreb, graduating in 1993.
