For the Egglfing-Obernberg project, we will manufacture six completely new generators, while the Braunau-Simbach project will involve the revitalization of four generators, including the production of new stators and rotor poles.

In mid-May 2023, following months of intensive bid preparation, site evaluations, and negotiations, we successfully secured the first phase of both projects, with a total value exceeding EUR 10 million. Production and delivery of equipment for both projects will proceed concurrently over the next several years. The first generators are slated for on-site delivery in the first quarter of 2024, with production of the remaining generators continuing through 2030. The total value of these contracts will reach several tens of millions of euros.

The Egglfing-Obernberg Hydropower Plant is located on the German side of the Austrian - German border on the River Inn. The scope of work for this project encompasses the manufacturing of six brand-new generators, the dismantling of the old units, installation of the new generators in the existing plant, and their full commissioning. The capacity of each generator will be upgraded from 16 MVA to 20 MVA, with each weighing over 200 tons.

The Braunau-Simbach HPP, located on the Austrian side of the German-Austrian border along the Inn River, will undergo the revitalization of four generators. This includes the production of new stators and rotor poles, dismantling the old units, installing the new ones, and completing their commissioning. The capacity of each generator will be upgraded from 32 MVA to 35 MVA, with each unit weighing more than 300 tons.

Alongside these new projects, we are in the final phase of delivering three new generators for the Ering-Frauenstein Hydropower Plant, with the last generator now undergoing installation on-site.
