In December 2023, we secured an agreement for the design, manufacturing, and testing of a new compact generator with a new turbine partner from Austria for the needs of Chidori SHPP.

The single vertical synchronous generator is to feature nominal power of 2.800 kVA, rated voltage of 6.600 V, and rated speed of 428.6 rpm. The generator is scheduled for delivery before the end of the year, with on-site testing and commissioning expected in mid-2025.

Given the specific installation constraints at the hydropower plant, the generator is customized in design and weight for transport and on-site installation. This is another in project that underscores the ingenuity and creativity of our Technical Department, which yet again excelled at designing a generator that meets the rigorous demands of the end- customer and meets specific electromagnetic and structural requirements.
