Asynchronous motors for diverse applications and customers

In the latter half of last year, we achieved a notable milestone in our motor program by securing contracts for the production and delivery of 34 high- and low-voltage asynchronous motors to a diverse group of customers, with a total value exceeding EUR 1.5 million.

Despite market challenges, we maintained strong relationships with long-standing customers while forging new partnerships. We delivered an asynchronous motor for winch drive applications to a new customer in Norway and supplied a 1,000 kW, 380 V, 1,500 rpm asynchronous motor with additional specifications to a domestic customer for dynamic wind-load waterproofing tests.

In addition, we secured contracts for upcoming projects in the domestic oil industry, which include the delivery of three new explosion-proof asynchronous motors.

We also cater to customers who replace motors after their original units have completed their service life. Notably, one of the oldest motors we produced, dating back to 1998, is still in operation, powering an absorber pump used in flue gas desulfurization.

At present, final testing is being conducted on four 9ATJ 407-02 asynchronous motors, rated at 500 kW, 6.6 kV, and 2,980 rpm, engineered for explosion-proof operation in gas turbine applications at an oil and gas refinery (as depicted in the photographs). Delivery is scheduled for early February. By the end of August 2023, an additional 42 asynchronous motors, tailored for various uses in transportation, energy, and industrial sectors, are slated for delivery.

Despite market challenges, we have maintained both stability and continuity in this line of business, ensuring that all projects are executed on schedule and as planned.
