Transformers for the solar power plant in Qatar
Our auxiliary and earthing transformers were delivered to the Al Kharsaah Solar Power Plant, which has a peak capacity of 800 MWp. Over its operational lifespan, the plant is projected to cut CO2 emissions by 26 million tons.
For Qatar’s Al Kharsaah Solar Power Plant, we delivered auxiliary and earthing transformers. With a peak capacity of 800 MWp, the plant meets 10% of local electricity needs and is anticipated to reduce CO2 emissions by 26 million tons over its operational lifespan.
A total of four auxiliary transformers, rated at 2500 kVA each (33 kV), were delivered per the technical standards of Kahraama, Qatar’s electric utility. We also supplied two earthing transformers (ZN connection).
The Al Kharsaah Solar Power Plant was commissioned in October 2022.
