In May 2018, we delivered a 98 MVA power transformer featuring Končar TMS monitoring system for the Ferrybridge Multifuel project in the UK. This challenging project necessitated swift delivery to meet the needs of our Swiss customer.

Ferrybridge Multifuel project is one of the UK's most innovative and efficient energy-from waste facilities. Located in West Yorkshire, it plays a crucial role in achieving the UK's sustainability targets.

The project is centred on waste-to-energy conversion. The facility utilizes advanced technology to convert municipal solid waste, commercial and industrial waste, and biomass into electricity. This approach significantly reduces landfill waste and taps into the energy potential of materials that would otherwise be wasted.

Due to previous delays and cancellations in contract stages, the customer set stringent technical and safety requirements and a very tight delivery schedule, which we met successfully.
