Vrije Solar Power Plant

After being selected in an international tender to design and construct Virje SPP, we successfully obtained the operating permit and commissioned the plant a little over a year after contracting.

In January 2022, we were selected as the lead contractor for Virje and Sisak SPPs. Virje SPP is located within INA’s gas processing facility Molve. Currently, it ranks as the second-largest solar power plant in Croatia, with an installed capacity of 10.3 MWp.

The plant is composed of 18,670 photovoltaic panels, and is expected to generate 12,225 MWh of electricity annually, which will be delivered to the power grid. Cutting-edge technological solutions were used in the construction of the power plants, including our PROZA NET platform, the backbone of plant digitalization.

We also secured another project for the same customer - the construction of Sisak SPP, which is on track for commissioning. Sisak SPP is built on unoccupied green areas within the premises of Sisak Refinery.

Both projects are unique in that the construction took place within active industrial facilities, where it was necessary to meet all safety requirements and maintain uninterrupted industrial processes, while meeting contractual deadlines.
