Josip Lasić, Member of the Management Board
As the Board Member responsible for finance at KONČAR, Josip Lasić brings significant expertise in transaction financing, mergers and acquisitions, and asset management. His career reflects a robust track record of strategic financial leadership and impactful investment management.
Before joining the Board, Josip served as Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of KONČAR - Electrical Industry Inc. from 2016. In this role, he played a key role in the Audit Committee, contributing to financial oversight and strategic decision-making.
In his early career, Josip established himself as a skilled Broker for institutional clients at Zagrebačka Banka, building his expertise in financial markets. Josip climbed the ranks at PBZ Croatia Osiguranje Pension Fund, starting as an Investment Analyst and culminating as Chief Fund Manager. He was responsible for designing investment strategies for funds with assets totalling EUR 2.5 billion and managing an annual investment volume of approximately EUR 1 billion.
At EBRD, Josip led the SME business segment for Croatia and contributed significantly to the private equity fund. His specialization in hybrid and equity financing facilitated regional mergers and acquisitions, showcasing his proficiency in complex financial transactions.
Josip earned his Finance degree from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Zagreb in 2006 and is now furthering his education with a postgraduate degree in Financial Analysis.
He holds all relevant licenses from HANFA concerning capital markets, investments, and pension funds, and was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification in 2012.
